Up All Night, country singer-songwriter Kip Moore's debut album, is already receiving rave reviews, and Somethin' About A Truck, a celebration of the fun times of his youth, is a Billboard Top 20 single.
Kip relied on his personal experiences growing up in the small town of Tifton, Georgia, to craft most of the songs on the album. The anthemic Drive Me Crazy is about troubled teens finding refuge in each other, while Crazy One More Time is about a powerful reunion with a lost love. Reckless (Growing Up) is a semi-autobiographical take on his journey from Georgia to Nashville, and Faith When I Fall was penned the day after he was offered a record deal.
Up All Night is one of Kip's favourite songs on the album, and he chose this as its title because the phrase has several meanings to him. "This record came about from me being up all night," he says. "Being up all night and doing the party scene ... and being up all night in the studio and writing until three or four in the morning."
