While Nicki Minaj originally emerged from her collaborations with cool hip hop artists such as Kanye, Lil Wayne and Jay Z, her more recent collaborations with mainstream acts like Rihanna, Madonna and David Guetta have expanded her fan base to include a broader pop audience.
Pink Friday ... Roman Reloaded is Minaj's second, all-new studio album, following on from 2010's Pink Friday. It features the singles Starships, which debuted at #9 on Billboard Top 100 and looks set to follow the success of her multi-platinum single Super Bass, and Right By My Side, on which she collaborated with Chris Brown.
Minaj said of making the album, "I’ve never had this much fun recording music in my life."
