Cold Chisel
Iconic Australian rock band Cold Chisel formed in the late '70s and are renowned for their songwriting ability and for being one of the most dynamic live acts in rock history. They've sold over six million albums, singles and DVDs to date, with nine albums making the Australian top ten.
No Plans is their first studio album in 14 years and features 13 songs drawn from recording sessions in 2010 and 2011. As well as the single Everybody, it also includes All For You and HQ454 Monroe, two songs that the band played for the first time on their 2011 record-breaking Light The Nitro Tour, which sold 350,000 tickets in Australia and New Zealand.
The album also features the final recorded performances by drummer Steve Prestwich who passed away in January 2011 and also one of his compositions, I Got Things To Do. All other songs were written by legendary songwriter Don Walker, except HQ454 Monroe, which was co-written by Troy Cassar-Daly and Dead & Laid To Rest, which was co-written by Jimmy Barnes and Guy Davies.
