Norah Jones first emerged on the world stage ten years ago with Come Away With Me, her self-described "moody little record" that introduced a singular new voice and grew into a global phenomenon with 25 million copies sold. Little Broken Hearts is the new chapter in the artistic evolution of one of the world's most consistently intriguing singer-songwriters.
Produced by Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton), her fifth studio album features 12 new original tracks co-written with Burton. Conceived in 2009 after a series of five sessions in Angeles, it wasn't until 2011, when Jones was asked to provide some vocals for Burton and Italian composer Daniele Luppi's spaghetti western project Rome, that Jones and Burton began the new record in earnest.
Each song on Little Broken Hearts is a darkly luminous exploration of wounded emotions, with the blending of Jones' and Burton's highly personal styles creating a brand-new sound
