This is the follow up to 2008’s Guns And Guitars, which was met with rave reviews. Hurricane marks a creative change for Steve, as he alters his sound for something edgier. Lyrics were inspired by his new life and the album was developed at his home in Tennessee and on fishing trips, one of Steve’s passions.
"After years of touring all over Australia and everything that comes with that lifestyle, I reached a point in my life and career where I knew I needed to immerse myself entirely into this next album. For the first time in a while, I felt like I had something to say," says Steve.
Steve wrote nine out of the ten tracks with collaborators Matt Scullion and Josh Barker. But his talents do not end there – he is also the host of Rollin With... on the Country Music Channel and fans would know that he used to be a successful bull rider and bareback bronc rider.
