Artist:
Cowboy’s Back In Town heralds the return of Nashville golden boy Trace Adkins. The Washington Post said it’s “better than anything Adkins has done in years.”
The first album to be released by Show Dog – Universal Music, the new label headed by fellow country legend Toby Keith and producer Mark Wright, it is a return to the rowdy side of Adkins with a few ballads tossed in. The songs range from those celebrating love, like the tender Still Love You, to those showcasing the unruly side of country living, like the hilarious Hold My Beer.
This album also showcases Adkins as a songwriter as he penned the title track, Cowboy’s Back In Town, with friends Jeff Bates and Kenny Beard. Adkins is joined by the Trailer Choir, whose harmonic vocals add the perfect touch to Don’t Mind If I Don’t, a song celebrating love as the perfect excuse to take it easy.
Adkins has sold more than ten million records, and given us classics like Ladies Love Country Boys.
