In this Naked Gun-style farce, John Candy (Spaceballs, Planes, Trains And Automobiles) stars as Harry Crumb, a bumbling detective who finally gets hired to investigate the kidnapping of the daughter of a multi-millionnaire – but only because his slimy boss (Jeffrey Jones, Ferris Bueller's Day Off), who turns out to be the kidnapper, doesn't want the crime solved.
