Stifled by twenty years of marriage, art professor Nino (Frank Finlay) decides to spice up his sex life. Learning of his wife Teresa's (Stefania Sandrelli) sexual fantasies for Laszlo, their daughter's fiance, he begins an odyssey of decadence and deception. Soon Laszlo and Teresa begin an affair, setting off a chain of unexpected events, as Nino and his unpredictable daughter find that they both enjoy being jealous.
