In this follow-up to the worldwide hit Journey To the Centre Of The Earth, 17-year-old Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist. Sean's new stepfather, Hank (Dwayne Johnson), joins him on a quest to find the island and rescue its lone human inhabitant (Michael Caine).
